Cari Shell

I am blessed to be at St. Francis of Assisi as Director of Youth Ministry.  When I was in high school, Life Teen had a huge impact on my own life, showing me how to have a personal relationship with Jesus and a deep love for the sacraments, and I hope to be able to share that with the teens of the parish.  It had such an impact on my life that I discerned a call to work in ministry.  I graduated from Walsh University where I studied Theology and Communications, interning with Campus Ministry and the Marketing Department on campus.

I grew up in Willowick with my parents and two younger brothers. I love trying new recipes and finding the best ice cream shops around Cleveland. I have traveled to 7% of the countries around the world and am always looking for new adventures.  Some of my favorite saints are St. Therese of Lisieux, St. Dorothy, St. Mary Magdalene and St. Perpetua.

Being able to walk with the teens of the parish is a wonderful blessing and honor.  My youth minister had a huge impact on my life and it is my hope that through the Life Teen program with the help of the Core Team, we are able to touch the lives of the teens at St. Francis.  My door is always open to help in any way I can, whether that be a person to laugh with, listening ear or a prayer partner.
