Eucharistic Ministers

Parish Office | (440) 461-0066

This is a very special ministry which invites adults to consider if the Church may be inviting them to assist with the distribution of Holy Communion (within the celebration of Mass and/or to those who may be sick or homebound).  Since the Eucharist is the “source and summit of the Christian life,” it is necessary that a person considering this ministry participate in some pastoral training in order to more effectively bring the presence of Christ to those they encounter while fulfilling their ministry.

Funeral Servers

Servers for funerals assist the priest at the funeral liturgy as well as the community gathered in prayerful worship. Any adult, man or woman, may be a funeral server. Servers are contacted when needed and as they are available to serve.

Our ministry of greeting considers the whole dimension of welcoming…that is, how we make people feel when they come to worship. Are they comfortable—physically, psychologically and spiritually, from the appearance of the facility to the ease of finding the appropriate place; to being greeted and accepted yet not smothered; to feeling the joy and anticipation of the congregation and the experience of God’s grace; to a liturgy that makes sense; to a sense of opportunities for personal and spiritual growth. A Greeter is the first in the line of those who welcome those coming to worship on Sunday and assist regular and new worshipers alike to feel as though this truly is a place to call home.

Parish Office | (440) 461-0066
